Jamshedpur is The Steel City and The Green City of India. Jamshedpur offers a wonderful natural splendor experience due to its many attractions.

Jamshedpur is also known as Tatanagar. It is located in a hilly region of Jharkhand in India. The place was founded by Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata, the one responsible for bringing the city to preserving its natural splendor. The well planned city of Jamshedpur attracts many tourists along with their bountiful nature and serene environment.

Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park is a 200 acre land with a zoo, lake, rose garden and amusement park. It is a gift by Tata Steel to the people of Jamshedpur in the year 1958. This place is among the favorite spots of cyclists, joggers and anglers.

Trimmed Ashok trees, fountains, beautiful Mughal Garden and uncaged animals are famous attractions of Tata Steel Zoological Park. Children can enjoy rides such as derby riding, caterpillar, 75 meter slide, cars and rolling till at this Jubilee Amusement Park. The abundant green surroundings are the main attractions that present tourists with several great opportunities.

Dimna Lake

Dimna Lake was constructed by Tata Steel 8 miles from Jamshedpur. The artificial reservoir is located at the foot of Dalma Hill, fulfilling the water needs of the people. Water sports like jet skiing, water scooting and rowing are the favorite activities here at Dimna Lake. It is also near the Dalma Wild Life Sanctuary. The place is best visited during the months of November to February.

Tata Steel Zoological Park

The park lies beside Jubilee Park having a beautiful lake, wooded area, Safari Park and a Nature Education Center. It was established by the TATAs. Rivers Meet

Rivers Meet is referred to as Domohani. It is the convergence of the two rivers namely the Kharkai and the Subarnarekha. Sir Dorabji Tata Park

Sri Dorabji Tata Park lies near Keenan Stadium. It derives its name from Sri Dorabji Tata, one of the pioneers of Tata Iron Steel Company.
